A Note From Holly on Safety at The Fort

May 2021

Dear Fort Guests,

I am thrilled to announce that the CDC has recommended that anyone who is fully vaccinated, does not have to socially distance or wear a mask! HIP! HIP! Huzzah!
If you have not been vaccinated, or simply choose to wear a mask for other reasons, please do so for your own safety and those around you.

A few weeks ago, I offered an ongoing Fort employee personal gift of $300 and a tomahawk pin to wear, if the employee can show me that he/she has been fully vaccinated. I’m proud to let you know that we have 30 employees that are fully vaccinated, to date, and many more are getting vaccinated or have already had their first shot. If your server or busser is not masked, know that he/she is fully vaccinated, as I have a record of each employee’s vaccination card on file. I’m so proud of my Fort family of employees keeping all of us safe by getting vaccinated.

The Fort main dining room is going back to normal seating, as Jefferson County Public Health dial is now in the Level “CLEAR”, allowing us to go to 100% capacity.

Additionally, we’ll be winterizing our beautiful brick patio, with a full ceiling/cover with skylights and heaters mounted on the ceiling, but all sides will be open to our valley views including many rainbows that form mid-late summer. You’ll be able to enjoy full service by our fire pits and waterfalls on the brick patio! Our goal is to have construction completed by July 4th.

Thank you for your patronage during this pandemic. We are forever grateful to you and are so excited to welcome you back for more Shinin’ Times!
