A Colorado Tradition: National Western Stock Show

For the past 112 years, people have anxiously awaited the arrival of the annual National Western Stock Show. One of Colorado’s most popular tourist attractions, the show is the nation’s premier livestock, rodeo and horse show. Held each January for 16 days, the event features one of the world’s richest professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows and Colorado’s largest western trade show. Each year, the show attracts more than 650,000 visitors (via National Western).

Established in 1906, the charitable organization works to celebrate western lifestyles while growing awareness for American agriculture education.
