FOODS FOR LOVE:  VALENTINE’S AT THE FORT
Special Prix- Fixe Menu and Romantic Helicopter Packages Available Throughout the Weekend

Morrison, COLove is in the air and it’s time for a romantic getaway to the foothills of Denver where The Fort offers a special prix-fixe Valentine’s menu on Tuesday, February 14.  This amorous backdrop includes live Native American flute music by Eric “Many Winds” Herrera filling the restaurant.  Doors open early at 5pm. 

Begin Valentine’s dining with The Fort’s famous House Salad with Damiana Vinaigrette, a reputed aphrodisiac, followed by a Fresh Pacific Northwest Oyster-Brie Bisque finished with Champagne.  Executive Chef David Woolley will prepare a special entrée featuring an Eight-ounce Bison Filet with a decadent Lobster-Corn Fricassee and a Truffled Twice-Baked Potato and Crispy Fried Sweet Onions.  For a sweet ending, indulge in a Raspberry-White Chocolate Mousse, served in a delicate chocolate tulip shell.  A special Valentine’s Negrita!  This special four-course Valentine’s meal is $50.00 per person.

The Fort’s regular menu items, including Vegetable “Tower”, Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon, Bill Bent’s Grilled Quail, Beef and Buffalo Sirloin and New York Strip, will also be available.  Special menu will be available Saturday, February 11 through Tuesday, February 14.
