ERIC “MANY WINDS” HERRERA:  NATIVE AMERICAN FLUTIST’S ENCHANTING MUSIC

Enjoying an Evening of Traditional Food and Music


 Morrison, COWith a passion for traditional Native American music to honor his Blackfeet Indian heritage, Eric “Many Winds” Herrera creates an enchanting atmosphere for an evening out at The Fort.  Herrera has been a musician for over 36 years with talents including brass, string, percussion and flute instruments.  Native American flute helps to tell stories and enrich the lives of those who experience this mesmerizing sound. 

The haunting music is heart-felt for Eric “Many Winds” Herrera; he feels it is his responsibility to honor his heritage and educate people about the beauty of the flute.  Each musical piece is a story and Eric is happy to tell you all about the music’s purpose and tale.

Eric “Many Winds” Herrera will be playing at The Fort on Friday, February 17 and Saturday, February 18.  Herrera plays regularly at The Fort on weekends as well as for special occasions.  Herrera’s CD Essence of Sage can be purchased at the Tesoro Trade Lodge, located in The Fort’s courtyard.
